Kieron passes advice to young musicians drawn from his experience from having spent a decade playing to huge audiences worldwide as live member of one of the most groundbreaking UK acts in modern times. Kieron also reveals the often unseen challenges of touring drumming to samples programmed by Liam Howlett and talks us through his audition for the band. Kieron advises on drumming to clicks, how to overcome red light fever and tells us about his many other impressive current projects including his role as member of the legendary BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Kenny Junior tells us fascinating and amusing stories from his own achievements and how a note left by his father encouraging him to keep the ‘Ball' name prominent in the jazz world still motivates him today.

In the immediate aftermath of World Record Store Day, Chris speaks to Johnny Hartford of Sister Ray Records. 

 

Johnny discusses his career in the music industry as both a Vinyl DJ and Record Store owner and gives his insight into the Vinyl Revival and how we currently consume music in the digital age. 

 

Johnny also reveals the secret of how Sister Ray Records continued to grow in a time when 90% of UK Record Stores were closing and how the current demand for Vinyl is creating desperate backlogs at pressing plants worldwide.
